Is it just me or is AusNTM wayyy better than ANTM? Just in general. Like they actually make them watch what they eat and exercise on AusNTM, and they seem much more interested in Next Top Model and not just Next Top Cheerleader. Models don’t need good personalities! They just need to have good catwalk and take good pictures.
Plus… i heart Alice Burdeu

uh ausntm is way better than antm? everytime i watch austm it bores me to death, but i think the photoshoots are much better. but the girls have no personality and are so BLAND. but some are gorgeous. this season is really sucky, only alyce and rebecca, and alexandra looks like models

I as well think that AusNTM is heaps better than ANTM (I’m even learning the taxonomy, “heaps!” XD), and that’s because they treat the girls like good models.
I don’t believe having a bubbly, sweet personality gets you to the top either. Look at Alice Burdeu, gawky, awkward, but she has such a model thing about her.
Now look at all the winners of ANTM…NOWHERE near as big as Alice. The only one who made better progress or has Alice catching up to her is Cycle One’s third-placer and one of my personal favorite contestants, Elyse Sewell. She’s already known as a supermodel in the Asian market.
Now, the photoshoots for AusNTM aren’t paparazzi shoots, CoverGirls in space, or falling fairy tales, but they are photos that look like REAL ADS.
They should just re-name ANTM to “CoverGirl’s Next Spokesmodel,” seriously. It’s a joke, and it’s more about the reality aspect than it is the modeling, but Tyra is planning to change that Cycle 11…I’m just waiting.
P.S., to antm10wordpress, I will get on my knees and beg you to cover ANTM 11, this is the best ANTM coverage on the net to me!
